Old optics + new sensor = win

Man, I LOVE my old lenses on my 'new' cam.
I just spent about 3 hours in the garden taking macro photo's. Besides fun it's also a good physical exercise. Getting on my knees to get close to the small creatures and getting up again for the bee's and butterflies and bending backwards for the pondskaters. All this with the sun shining and a cool breeze,... what better way to spent the day.
I got some relatively cheap lenses from Canon. I mainly use the FDn 50mm f/3.5 Macro on my Canon 5D with a converter without optics. The quality of this lens is amazing!
I can't wait to get out again!

Superhero Contest

I've started a contest on my Superhero Database website (www.superherodb.com).
Here's the idea for the contest:
- Write a story about your own superhero, including bio, history, abilities and powers.
- Create a visual representation for your hero.
Prize: 2-Disc DVD of The Dark Knight (+ 2x 1-Disc DVD of The Dark Knight)
I will personaly pick a top XX (amount depending on total entries) and let you vote for the overall best, best story and best visual creation. So, if your not good at writing, you still have a change of winning a prize.
